From 7th to 10th April the biggest event dedicated to wine will take place at Veronafiere.
Countdown for the 53rd edition of Vinitaly 2019, the International Wine & Spirits Exhibition.
The event is dedicated to the promotion of wine companies and aims to represent a meeting point between supply and demand, between producers and buyers. This year Vinitaly has more than one hundred thousand square meters of area: 4,120 exhibiting companies will be present, together with:
- 291 at Sol&Agrifood (International Exhibition of Quality Agro-Foods)
- 200 at Enolitech (International Exhibition dedicated to the entire technological supply chain applied to wine growing, olive growing and beverage).
The pavilion spaces have been sold-out since last November, with the presence of 4600 wineries, mostly Italian, and a total of 35 producer countries.
Agricolus at Vinitaly 2019

For the first time Agricolus will take part in Vinitaly 2019 at Umbria Top Wines and Umbria Region stand (Pavilion 2 – A9/E10) to showcase GRAPEDSS: the solution that offers specific features for the management of the vineyard within the platform.
It is a control and forecast tool that helps to apply effective defense strategies and supports the decisions of winemakers and technicians by using forecast models, crop scouting and remote sensing.

During the 4 days of the event, Agricolus will organize workshops at its stand on the following subject:

The aim is to explain by concrete examples how satellite images, forecast models and Decision Support Systems (DSS) are becoming very important for farmers and technicians in the analysis of the decisions to be taken to carry out operations at the most appropriate time and place.
