Made in Italy innovation is the protagonist of SMAU London 2018, from 2 to 4 May.
SMAU | Italy RestartsUp is going to start in few hours. It is the leading show dedicated to innovation in Italy, organized in collaboration with ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies.
This is the first time the SMAU event takes place in London at the Old Truman Brewery: its aim is to create a bridge among the Italian startups ecosystem, the London Hub and the British market.
SMAU London 2018 wants to encourage English investors and entrepreneurs to find out how Italian startups and incubators are currently rapidly expanding while offering crucial tools for business innovation.

Agricolus is one of the 40 Italian startups that will show their products and services to investors and visitors.
There will be also some pitching sessions and panels with representatives of the Italian and British innovation ecosystem focused on:

Pierantonio Macola, President of Smau, says that the purpose of SMAU London 2018:
“…is to introduce the innovative excellence of “Made In Italy” to English entrepreneurs, investors and managers invited to the exhibition. Italy is best known in the world for its excellence in food, fashion and design and Smau | Italy Restarts UP in London will be the occasion to activate trade relations, partnerships and investments between the various international ecosystem professionals that will visit the event and the Italian ones taking part in the initiative”.
Programme
2nd May, from 7.30 pm – An opening networking cocktail will take place at the Italian Embassy with the presence of H.E. Ambassador Raffaele Trombetta. The event is dedicated to investors, corporates and relevant actors belonging to London’s and British startup ecosystem, interested in the delegation selected by Smau.
3rd May, from 10.00 am – At Old Truman Brewery start-up companies will show their products and solutions to investors and visitors.
4th May, from 9.00 am – The entire day will be dedicated to the startup companies with scheduled tours with realities of British innovation ecosystem.
